Why you'd want to live in Redmond

Redmond connects everyone to Central Oregon. With rapid housing development and home to the Redmond Airport (RDM), which has daily flights to major U.S. hubs, Redmond is at the center of the high desert. The sprawling downtown area has many restaurants, micro brews, and fine dining. Eagle Crest Resort is along the west side of the city and borders the Deschutes River, while Smith Rock State Park is 15 minutes from town and has numerous walking and sightseeing paths, as well as world-renowned rock climbing. The Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center are also in Redmond.
